Women's Health Issues
This section is devoted to women and women's health issues.

physicians at ARFP routinely help women with issues such as heart
disease, obesity, hormonal problems, thyroid problems,
osteoporosis,
birth control, arthritis, asthma, heartburn, stomach ulcers,
irritable bowel and a host of other conditions.
At ARFP we treat many conditions that may affect women only or may be
different in women than men. We also know how important it is to keep
up with your specific health screening such as being sure you have had your
regular PAP test, mammograms and clinical breast exams. Some may chose
to have the PAP at a gynecologist office and if you do we still want to know
when you have it so we can be sure to document it in your health record.
Heart disease is one condition that is much different in women than in
men. We realize that often the presenting symptoms are different and
that women may need very different treatment.
