Prescription Policy
Medications will not be prescribed over the telephone. You
will be asked to make an appointment to diagnose your illness, and a medication
may then be prescribed.
Refills of any continuing medications must be taken care of when you are
in the office to see your regular doctor. It is your responsibility to be sure
you do not run out of your routine medications. Refills are not considered
an emergency and medications will not be refilled after hours or on weekends.
Do not call the emergency after hours service to request refill of your medication.
Narcotics will not be prescribed without an examination from one of our
physicians. Narcotic pain relievers will be used only for relief of a short term
or acute condition.
