Payment for the Services you receive at ARFP

Due to changing health care regulations, we have been forced to implement practice policies that may change the way you have handled payment to medical practices in the past.

IT IS NOW REQUIRED THAT YOU PAY FOR MEDICAL SERVICES AT THE TIME THEY ARE RENDERED. If you have an unpaid balance you will be required to pay that balance before you see the doctor for any non-emergent (non-life threatening) treatment.

If you have questions about your bill or if you have received a past due notice, please call our accounts specialist at 320-5434. If the voice mail answers please leave a message with your name, phone number and account number and we will call you back.  You can also contact us by e-mail at Accounts[at]ARFP.com.

Common Questions:

  •  Am I charged a copay for follow-up visits?
    • YES. It is part of your insurance contract that you pay your portion or copay every time you see the doctor.
  •  Will ARFP bill me later for the copay?
    • NO. Your insurance contract requires you to pay your copay at the time of the visit.
  •  How much is my copay?
    •  This is usually printed on your insurance card.  This is a reason we ask to see your card at every visit.
  •  I have no insurance, does ARFP have a payment plan?
    • We have a financial representative you may speak to prior to your visit with the doctor to set payment arrangements.  Otherwise, you will be required to pay in full at the time of service.
  •  I am a new patient, how much is an office visit?
    • The charge varies with the intensity or seriousness of the problem treated, so it is difficult to give estimates prior to seeing the doctor.
  •  Why does ARFP ask to see my Driver's license?
    • For identification purposes, to comply with federal privacy laws ( HIPAA ).
