Appointments
Our office is open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am
to 11:30 am on Saturday mornings. These extended hours are provided for
your convenience. Check our
holiday schedule
too. Please call, 227-6363, to schedule an appointment. If an
appointment cannot be kept, please notify our office as soon as possible. A
charge may occur for a no-show appointment or cancellation within four hours of
your scheduled appointment time.
New Patients:
PLEASE arrive at least 30
minutes before your scheduled appointment time, there is a great
deal of paperwork to work on and we
need to call your insurance before you see the doctor. If we can not
verify your insurance you will be required to pay at time of
service.
You can print the
Registration
and
History
forms to fill out and bring with you. If your last visit
was more than three years ago, you are a New Patient.
Common Questions:
- Why do you ask that new patients arrive 30 minutes before the appointment
time?
- The appointment time is the time the doctor will try to see you but we
will need to verify your insurance information with the insurance company
and enter your information into our system.
- As an established patient, can I just 'pop in' to see the doctor without
an appointment?
- Yes you may, however you need to realize that the doctor will see the
people who scheduled appointments first, even if those people actually
arrive after you. People with appointments rightly expect to be seen as
close to their appointment time as possible.
- How much time will my Yearly Physical Exam take?
- This varies on what tests may be needed for your age and overall
health, but usually between 30 minutes to a hour.
- I had a TB skin test placed, do I need a appointment to return to have it
checked?
- Yes, so the nurse that placed it will know that you are coming, this
will not be a doctor visit.
